Hi!
We're currently using an old version of Cerberus for our helpdesk, however it has been badly behaved and we're looking at replacements.
I'm currently using GLPI for inventory tracking. I think it'd be nice to get the helpdesk functionality working as well. We have one major requirement... a user must be able to send an email to the helpdesk which will then automatically create a ticket.
Is this possible with GLPI? I'm using 0.71.3 on a JumpBox (Ubuntu 8.04)
Thanks,

Yes it's possible => see Setup / Gateway.

Much thanks! I also set up a crontab to make it automatically check the account. Is there a way to make the Assistance > Tracking page auto-refresh so new tickets appear on their own?
If there isn't a way built in to GLPI, would it be safe to add a meta-refresh tag to tracking.php?
Thanks again... GLPI is great!!

GLPI runs a psudo-cron so as long as its being used it will check every 5 mins or so, I can't remember exactly off the top of my head.
I have added a meta refresh tag to my central.php and it works fine for me
GLPI 0.78.1 ... but planning to upgrade soon!
