Hello all
how to set the visibility of items from the category list in relation to the user's profile or group. User using a given profile should see categories created for him.

This isn't a current feature. Ticket categories can only be limited based on profile interface type (simple / standard).

Is there a plan to expand GLPI with this functionality?
If we want to divide the helpdesk into 1st and 2nd level, the end user should not see only some categories of the application, while the 1st level help, when forwarding the request to the 2nd level, will be able to select another category for this request, which could not be selected by the end user.
