Hi all,
This morning I had the unpleasant surprise of my locations in GLPI messing up (probably due to my misconfiguration).
I have the following situation regarding locations:
Root entity > TH > branch 1
Root entity > TH > branch 2
Root entity > TH > branch 3 and so on
In the LDAP Directories settings, under the tab users. I've configured that the location of the users should be "Root entity > TH > %{physicaldeliveryofficename}".
However, upon saving the configuration, GLPI converts the contents of the field to lowercase and glpi creates a new location with the lowercase names.
Does anyone have an idea on how to prevent GLPI from creating these locations and instead look through the locations that already exist?

Perhaps anyone can shed some light on this issue?

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how nobody has had this issue. It may have something to do with the capitalisation of the entities?

I was wondering if someone has a solution / explanation for this?

No one has a clue?

I saw on the Github GLPI Project page Issue number #17106.
Anybody thinks this could be related to my problem?

For anyone stumbling upon this monologue: this issue seems to be solved in version 10.0.17.
