Hello,
We are having an issue with Dropdown Ticket Categories.
Our supervisor wants to move categories and remove some that were set up some time ago.
In a limited test, it seems that removing a Ticket Category DELETED that info in closed / pending tickets.
Is there a way to maybe HIDE categories that we don't want to show up anymore?
We would like our users to start using a new, more concise set of Ticket Categories but seem unable to move forward due to potential data loss in terms of historical statistical data.
I am considering renaming categories were it makes sense, but there are others that must be deleted. I'd rather hide them.
Is there any advice or wisdom that anyone would like to share?
