Your tickets to validate (1)

Here is what I am trying to accomplish:
We have a system edit log that user 1 enters in a system change.  User 2 then validates that change in the log.

****
I create a ticket for a system edit category.
Assign a needs approval by a 2nd user.

When that user approves the ticket and marks as closed, we are still seeing a "Your tickets to validate (1)" message.

What are we doing wrong in order to fully close out the ticket?

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Your tickets to validate (1)

Found it!  Under the Validation tab - that needs to be set to approved.

So what is the purpose of the main ticket tab's approval drop down?

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Your tickets to validate (1)

Tickets to validate are different from ticket to approve.

Tickets to validate is a validation before treatment of the ticket (by example, you want a new print but you mus have the agree of the manager because you have a question of money)
Tickets to approve are tickets that be solved by a technician ans the requester must approve the solution purposed.

Re: Your tickets to validate (1)

OK, Based on my needs, I would want to validate.
so would I still want to setup my ticket as an approval request then?

Thanks,
Dan
