Re: computer spare stock count in glpi

Use "peripheral" to have financial information (for motherboard, disk, ...)

Create a "status" for "spare"

Re: computer spare stock count in glpi

hi remi

rhel 5.5 + glpi 0.80.5 ( tar ball )

thanks for ur reply ,, can u show me how to get to peripheral page ,

is this correct way? , inventory > devices > add , during add new device , enter spare on status column , after that goto inventory > status .  the new device i created just now appear at here (status) .

how to i link ticket to this new device ? ( i never use ticketing before)
my situation as below
staff report hdd faulty , then i will create new ticket on glpi , the new ticket i created will link to spare hdd (above) , and redo the inventory by fusioninventory glpi or manually change the hdd s/n. after that i will ask manager purchase new hdd to replace faulty hdd . then i will key in new hdd into glpi as spare .

thanks ..

hope you can show me the way to perform above task ..
