Following on from here
When toggling this setting (either globally or individually) to "No", it only behaves as expected for updates/followups created from within the Web UI.
If a requester/self-service user for instance sends a purely e-mail followup, then they will still receive a notification of their own followup (but from the helpdesk address) which only leads to confuse those less tech-savvy users. Cue cries of "Why am I getting e-mail from myself, but sent from the helpdesk e-mail address?!"
We obviously want requesters/self-service users to still receive notifications when anyone else concerned has updated/changed/added followups etc. (from both e-mail or from the Web UI), but we don't want anyone to receive notifications of their own content (unless they are an administrator).
Can this be worked around with a business rule, perhaps? (I could find no way of criteria matching "from = self", or similar)...

this would be an ehancement for next versions.
