Plugin installation Procedure problem

Hi everyone,

I have recently installed GLPI 0.70.2 (on Windows) and just trying to install some plugins, however I think I must have done something wrong as I don't seem to have the menu options that the Plugin installation Procedure says I should have sad

On http://glpi-project.org/wiki/doku.php?id=en:plugins it says "Select Setup and Plugins." but I don't have a Plugins option under Setup.  I've had a look through the menus and can't seem to find anything that looks like what I need.

I am the super-admin and under Setup I only have Dropdowns, Components, General, Notifications, Authentication, Mail Gateway, Document Type and External links... but not Plugins sad so I can't “Select a plugin to configure”

Has anyone else had this problem, and can you tell me how to resolve it?  Some of the plugins look like they add some nice features.

You copy the plugins to /glpi/plugins ? After you disconnect from GLPI and connect again? The permissions on folder?

What's plugins you are use?

Yes, I copied the folders into the glpi/plugins and logged out of GLPI.  I'm running under windows at the moment and all users are set to have full permissions on the folders.

The plugins that I was trying to look at are "backups" and "orders".

PS I have just noticed that having gone back in to check the permissions, that they are marked 'read only' again... so I reset them, came out and went back in again and they are STILL read only. sad  I think that it must be a windows problem.  I hope that I can put it on Linux soon...

in Configuration > Geral, change the mode of GLPI work, for "Debug Mode", and past it here after smile

We are just seting up GLPI for the first time on a SUSE box with the same version of 70.2.  Just tried to install the Additional Reports plugin and are having the same exact issue.  I'm posting the debug info from our server:

We are using root as our apache2 user. I have run chown and chmod to 755.

What is the full path to the "backups" and "orders" plugins?

Also your are right Windows, does have a bug I know it is a shock!.. Folders most often appear read only when checking their properties, even if they aren't. Checking them in a command window using attrib does however confirm their real attributes.

I have a confession to make hmm

I have been really stupid sad

I didn't realise there were two installations on our servers and I was using the wrong one... I didn’t notice until I looked at the Debug mode and saw that I was looking in the wrong path because it was the different server.

I've got the correct server now and it seems to be working smile
