Bonjour,
Merci
Mikaël

Hi,
Do you have the same config as me (ubuntu server + win7&IE8)? Did you try it with win vista & IE8 ? Or Win7 & IE7 ?
Thx

Your problem may not be the same. In my case I don't t have any error message, only a popup asking for login and password. And this popup always re-appears even if I enter a correct login/pwd.
I still did not try the solution given but will let you know once done.
I also can see that you can't reach the web. Maybe is it due to a problem with IE? Did you try to install another browser (FireFox, Opera) on your win7 PC?

I have tested with IE8 and Mozilla.
In mozilla entered without any problems but I need to enter credentials. (I have configured the automatic start NTLM)
I agree not in IE8. No requests for credentials:
"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request ......"
What is the issue that I can not get automatically from IE8 in Windows7?
Thanks

It seems the problem doesn't come from Win7 as you can log in with Mozilla. So the solution given by EmpereurZorg won't change anything for you... I think the problem is in IE8 but difficult to find out what...
Maybe you should try to uninstall IE8 and reinstall IE7. If OK with IE7, then reinstall IE8 and try again.

Note that you have to reboot your computer after adding the registry key.
You could try to add your glpi website in "trusted sites" (IE security tab)... "just in case"
Try this too, but I think it's just another method for changing registry key :
Search the "local security policy" panel, and go to "local policies", "security options"
Select "Network security : Lan manager Authentication level", change it to "Send LM & NTLM responses"

In the Apache configuration I had to automatically authenticate the user:
PerlModule Apache2::AuthenNTLM
<Directory /usr/share/glpi>
PerlAuthenHandler Apache2::AuthenNTLM
AuthType basic
AuthName paipartners
require valid-user
PerlAddVar ntdomain "mydomain dc1 dc2"
PerlAddVar ntdomain "mydomain dc1 dc2"
PerlSetVar defaultdomain mydomain
PerlSetVar splitdomainprefix 1
PerlSetVar ntlmdebug 1
PerlSetVar ntlmauthoritative off
</Directory>
If I remove this, I can enter the GLPI from IE8 (I called credentials).
How should I configure Apache to allow access automatically from IE8?
Thank you very much to all

I don't think the problem is in Apache configuration but in IE8 as it works for all other browsers (including IE7).

Yes but in IE8 (I work when I delete the line:
" PerlModule Apache2:: AuthenNTLM.......")
As I read on internet it seems a problem that IE8 does not support NTLM authentication.
What can I do?I need to solve the problem.
Thank you very much mikey.

Of course it works when you delete these lines as they activate NTLM authentication. So without these lines you have to authenticate manually. And it works for all other browsers too (with manual authentication).
Did you try to install IE8 on XP ? What I read on the internet is that it's OK in this case. And FF on win7 is OK too. So it should be due to IE8 with win7.
But looking for explanations on the internet I have found that : http://www.glpi-project.org/forum/viewt … p?id=16281 and http://www.glpi-project.org/forum/viewt … p?id=16284 (which the solution given by EmpereurZorg).
It is in french, but it redirects to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr … 60646.aspx and http://technet.microsoft.com/es-es/maga … n-us).aspx
Modifying the registery key LmCompatibilityLevel in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa (or creating it if it doesn't exist) with value 2 should solve the probem.
So I really don't understand why it doesn't work for you.
Reading the post I saw that you already answered on it and that you are running a Win7 64bits OS. Maybe the cause of the problem?
Did you also try to install FireFox on XP PC and see if automatic logon works?
