'yum update glpi' went through seemingly fine (using Remi's test repository).
I then attempted to browse to my GLPI home page but the page is just a blank, grey screen. My httpd error_log shows:
"

Any advice please!
I've been running YUM upgrades on GLPI since v0.7x and never had a real problem until now
Thanks for reading.

Okay, I am getting somewhere. I found that I needed to disable old MySQL passwords in /etc/my.cnf, restart mysqld and then reset my GLPI database password.
This allows the database upgrade page to appear when I access GLPI but at the top of the page, I have:
"
PHP Notice: Undefined index: language in /usr/share/glpi/inc/plugin.class.php at line 173
"
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

For anyone following this. GLPI v0.84.2 seems to running fine since I addressed the issue with MySQL and old passwords. I still don't know if the "undefined index" error is something to be concerned about.
