Manually type username

hi,

please help me how to add an extra dialog box to manually type username on demand as previous version.
I'm using 0.83.8 (previous version 0.80.7) as below url.

any help would be great appreciate.

You don't have activate ajax
Setup > Genral > fiel "Don't use dynamic display if the number of items is less than :"

but pls how to show the full email address instead of Full name.

kindly tell why this newer version does not support email add for user field?
to prevent any confusing, I just personally think it would be better if using email address instead, because of unique value.

But all user doesn't have email adress.
So, for the users dropdown, GLPI lists surname and firstname or, if they are empty identifiant

might you have misunderstood my point.

- I already connected to LDAP directory successfully.
- I also already imported LDAP user (including email address) into glpi user.
- now I want to add new Computer with the owner info is specified email address that have just being imported.
that's it.
but it displays Full Name instead of email address as my expecting
