contract expiration date

hi guys,

I´m willing to start using the contract management in GLPI and started by creating the first one.
My problem is that GLPI doesn´t seem to add the "renewal peroid" to the time when the initial contract was used to expire.

Screenshot: asdf.jpg

At the marked spot should be 2013 not 2012 since the contract was tacitly renewed for 12 months - do I miss anything essential maybe?

Any help will be appreciated!
kind regards

samcro

Re: contract expiration date

can somebody pls point me to where the marked date gets calculated?
Or where the "Contract renewal period" is supposed to get added to the "Initial contract period"?

Re: contract expiration date

Right now I'm not using contracts, but...

You wanted to be noticed 3 months before the contract runs out, that's

2013-03-01 minus 3 months = 2012-12-01

And that is the date given in the marked spot. Maybe it doesn't work like you expected, because the renewal has already been once? Initial contract period 48 months, as a workaround?

Re: contract expiration date

doesnt make a difference if its in the past or future sad

but it also doesnt seem to do/calculate/update anything when values get changed related to the renewal period. so perhaps somebody could just officially tell me if that functionality does or doesnt even exist? because I also didnt get any notifcation mail from the GLPI server although there was a contract ending...
