Problem with genericobject plugin

Hi,

I'm trying to use genericobject plugin in GLPI, but there is one strange issue which prevents us from using it. The issue is that when we try to use the plugin - for example go to Plugins >Objects management, make a new category for example 'car', make some configuration for the new object - for example add additional fields and suddenly the plugin disappears (the plugin disables by itself), so I have to go and enable it again, this happens randomly on different actions related to the genericobject plugin. I cannot find any errors in the logs, enabled debug mode in GLPI and still no errors are reported.
I use GLPI version 0.83.8 upgraded from 0.68.3. I have also tried new clean installations of versions 0.83.7 and 0.83.31 but I get the same issue.
Generic Object plugin is version 2.1.3.
The server is Debian based, using php 5.3.24 build from source.
