hi, guys,
we are in the beginning of using GLPI. It is a great tool to track the computers within the company. but there is one issue with computer models:
for Lenovo products, it only retrieves the "7-char" Model ID (such as 64741EG), which makes managers very difficult to review the infomation. Is there any way we can retreive the "model name" such as "T400, T410", etc..?
I understand that the root of the cause is that the Lenovo stores the "7-char" model ID in the wmi class, which other manufacturers normally store their model name, while it uses another wmi class to store the model name. Therefore is it possible to configure the agent to collect model info from different wmi class for lenovo computers, or simple collect that additional class info for all computers?
Thank you!

It's not a problem with GLPI but with your inventory agent.
