Hi
I am installing several plugins on GLPI 0.83.7. The plugins state 0.83.3 & < 0.84 OR 0.83. Which one should I use? I hope 0.83.3 & < 0.84 because I have to use the terminal web browser to download them...
Thanks!
you've got to start somewhere!
linux kernel version 2.6.27-17-server i686; ubuntu 8.10; apache 2.2.9; php 5.2.6-2ubuntu4.6 with suhosin-patch 0.9.6.2; mysql version 14.2 distrib 5.0.67; glpi 0.83.7

The answer is that it depends. You have to find it on forge.indepnet.
For example, if you want to know if the latest version of plugin "shellcommands" (previously known as "cmd") is compatible with GLPI 0.83.7, then go to https://forge.indepnet.net/projects/shellcommands/files.
It lists that the plugin "glpi-shellcommands-1.5.2.tar.gz" description is "> GLPI 0.83.31 & < 0.84". This means that the plugin is compatible with a version of GLPI that is greater than 0.83.31 and less than 0.84; hence, it includes 0.83.7.
The location of other plugin files can be found from here:
https://forge.indepnet.net/projects
Notice (from below), the plugins "connections", "network", "activity", and "racks" are not compatible with GLPI 0.83.7.
glpi-projet-1.3.2.tar.gz, > GLPI 0.83.31 & < GLPI 0.84
glpi-appliances-1.8.1.tar.gz, Compatible with GLPI >= 0.83.3 and < 0.84
glpi-archires-2.0.1.tar.gz, Compatible GLPI >= 0.83.3 and < 0.84
glpi-connections-1-5-0.tar.gz, Compatible GLPI version 0.72
glpi-addressing-2.0.1.tar.gz, Compatible GLPI >= 0.83.3 and < 0.84
glpi-network-1.5.0.tar.gz, GLPI 0.78.x
glpi-activity-1.5.0.tar.gz, GLPI 0.72.x
glpi-racks-1.3.2.tar.gz, GLPI 0.83.31
glpi-reports-1.6.1.tar.gz, Compatible GLPI >= 0.83.3 and < 0.84
glpi-shellcommands-1.5.2.tar.gz, > GLPI 0.83.31 & < 0.84
glpi-webapplications-1.8.2.tar.gz, > GLPI 0.83.31 & < 0.84
I don't know if anyone else has reported this, but the search on this forum seems to be down.

thanks tsmr!
i've got another plugin related question... after i updated glpi from 0.72 to 0.83.7, glpi allowed me to update the mailkb plugin from 1.2.0 to 1.2.0 (i know, it doesn't make sense) and enable it. however, according to forge (link below) the latest version of mailkb (which is 1.2.0) is not compatible with glpi 0.83.7. has anyone tried to use mailkb on glpi 0.83.7? the description of mailkb states "allows you to generate emails after FAQ item creation."
