incomplete status page after database setup

Hi all!

GLPI version: glpi-0.83.7.tar.gz
Environment: XAMPP v.3.1.0
OS: Windows XP Pro
browser: Mozilla Firefox 18.0.2

Steps followed:

• I configured Apache for glpi home, then restarted Apache.

• I installed GLPI for Italian language (for my installation: localhost:81/glpi).

• Installation started, GLPI verified all checkpoints and they all were OK (green).

• I set MySql address and MySql admin username (no password).

• I specified to create a new DB

After a little time, a page appeared but the pasge was incomplete (without any button to go on with the configuration).
I deleted E:\sw\glpi\config\config_db.php, then I repeated all steps leaving English language by default, but the last page was again incomplete.

I verified that a "glpi" database was created with many tables.

I repeated again all the procedure, but the last page was again incomplete.

What can I do?
Did I make any mistake?
