Custom Inventory Types

Hi there,

we are currently reviewing glpi for our company  (a medium sized ISP) here in canada. We are quite pleased with glpi so far. However we would like to add custom inventory types. I have tried to look at the generic objects management plugin (located here: http://plugins.glpi-project.org/spip.php?article96), but when i click the download button there are no files to download and shows a login page. I have created a user on the page, but when i login with my user name password it gives me a "You are not authorized to access this page." error.

Is there any other way to get custom inventory types in glpi?
