How to create Multiple and Independent Groups in Single Installation

Hi,

I would like to know if and how can one create multiple but exclusive and independent groups on a single installation of GLPI on one host. For example - The IT team functions within its own group, the Accounts team has it own space, the Marketing team has its own space. Can all these teams function independently, WITHOUT accessing each others' tickets, details etc? Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Shareit

I would use Entities instead of groups to do that : Create 3 entities, assign users directly to them (manually or with a rule), and I'll work as you wish.

Agree with sdombre, it will simplify the need to separate tickets-inventory-etc,

GLPI 10.0.10
Installation mode: zip on OREL9

They come from the same database (Ldap, AD, glpi user,...), but when they log-on, they just see other users, computers, sites, tickets, of the same and only entity that they belong.
