I have4 a question to ask about emails and GLPI Users.
Is it possible to do the following in GLPI...?
External Company with email addresses @domain.com
Internal Company with GLPI running (internal email @local.com) GLPI picking up emails from a mailbox (helpdesk@local.com) GLPI User User1
What I want to do is if any email comes from the @domain.com I want to show them in the helpdesk as User1 only in GLPI.
And so on with other companies. I hope this makes sence.... :-)

I'm not sure I follow....
Is the ticket being created by only 1 user, but the user has 2 different emails -1 local and 1 external?
If yes, go into the user and add the second email address.
Thanks,

Hi thanks for the reply I did think it may be a little confusing ok
lets try this.....
Ext company 1 with email @domain1
Ext company 2 with email @domain2
Ext company 3 with email @domain3
now on the GLPI System
I have Users
User1
User2
User3
Now
If any user emails to helpdesk@local.com which the GLPI checks and collects from
I want to the following to happen if poss
Company1 > shows up as User1
Company2 > shows up as User2
Company3 > shows up as User3
Now as you have put above just add another email address I have done this and it does work BUT only on the email address I add and I'm concerned that if a follow up is done it will then email to all those email address I have added with is not what I want. Is there a way to do a wild card for the @domain so any user emailing from that domain will show up as the User account...?

I don't think there is anything you can do to automate that.
Notifications will only be emailed to the default email address assigned to the user.
Thanks,
