I have set both options in the general tab for "allow anonymous tickets" and "allow anonymous followups", yet I am still getting unknown user and no ticket created when it tries to import emails from an email address that does not yet have a corresponding user in the system. Is there something else I need to enable for this to work?

It is glpi 0.83.2 on centos5.5. I'm not sure what pieces of the config would be relevant, let me know if there is something that will help. The receiver is working fine for accounts that exist within glpi. When it gets an email from an address it does not recognize, it doesn't import it for the reason of "unknown user". Both of the "allow anonymous" items are enabled in the general config.
thanks...

Me too, I can't see I'm doing anything wrong, as per the poster above.
I have tried the following scenarios:
Mailbox contains only email from known user: job created, all works fine
Mailbox contains only email from unknown user: blank screen, with /front/mailcollector.form.php in the address bar
Mailbox contains emails from BOTH known and unknown users: blank screen, with /front/mailcollector.form.php in the address bar
I've looked at Administration >Rules > Rules for assigning a ticket created through a mail receiver, the rule mentions the Root entity, I wonder whether this Root entity hasn't got permission to create new users?
Please help!
