Looking to deploy GLPI - a few questions

Hi,

Currently running a proof of concept of OCSNG/GLPI - version 0.83.91, on Ubuntu (pre-packed VM from OCSNG)

We are looking to deploy GLPI on a global level (3-4 main offices, several small offices).

I've been gathering requirements from some of the offices that have good asset inventory in place (other methods).

They have asked me quite a few questions to see if GLPI can do certain things.

From looking at (an FR>EN translated version of) the manual - I've been able to answer some of those questions, but some not.

Here are some of the main remaining ones:

Email notifications - possible to notify on delete of an Asset?
(Computers/Monitors/Printers, etc.)

Past Assignment from Historical Information of assets
Is it possible to filter the Historical Information on specific options (change of user, etc)?

Reporting (Assets) - modifications/deletions over a period of time?
Most reporting I can see 'out of the box' is high level, e.g. total number of assets, yearly financials.
There is also a Reports plug-in.  Any additional information is appreciated.

User 'acknowledgement' of assets issued to them
If a user has assets (permanent, e.g. computer or temporary, e.g. phone) assigned to them - is there any way of the user being able to 'acknowledge' that they have been issued those assets.

e.g. in a paper system - the user would simply sign a list of issued assets.
Is there any way to acknowledge this via an email?

Search by historical ID?
Each update to the system generates a unique 'transaction' ID in the system.
Is is possible to search based on a specific transaction ID (or range)?

I realise it's perhaps not best practice to ask many questions in one post - but any assistance would be appreciated.

No, notifications are only for heldesk and alert (expiration of license, contract...) not for item of inventory (in future version perhaps)

No, you can't do that with the search engine

You have a plugin Reports https://forge.indepnet.net/projects/reports with many reports but you can create you own report

In users object, you have a tab for used items

Not from search engine.
Historical database is too expansive to make requests.
But you can create a report
