Hi all,
Whenever we add a task or follow-up to a ticket, GLPI emails the user with our customized update.
Is it possible to have GLPI only email the user if there's a 'follow-up' added and not when there's a 'task' added?
The reason being that we generally use tasks internally as a log of what actions, fixes, jobs we undertake on the ticket (i.e.: stuff users aren't interested in), and follow-ups are just used for liaising with the user. At the moment we update tasks a lot, so most users don't bother looking at the many emails produced by GLPI. Whereas if they only received relevant emails they would be more inclined to actually look at them and respond accordingly!
Thank you.
Elliot

So far I don't think there is. There is a fixed set of actions which generate email and they are not flexible. I would def love a more robust notification system with more (or customizable) actions.

That's a shame. Well at least I asked
Thanks.

You have to different events for a ticket : add followup and add task.
If you choose the correct one, you'll solve your problem.
CentOS 6.5 - CentOS 7.x
PHP 5.6 - PHP 7.x - MySQL 5.6 - MariaDB 10.2 + APC + oOPcache
GLPI from 0.72 to dev version
