generic object plugin reusing generic field?

I would like to define a new field to save wiring information. For that i am using generic object plugin that worked great for other types of information i wanted to inventory.

(simplifying the problem)  i would need one custom object, with side A location and side B location.

I ve already completed the location dropdown (a tree with all my rooms and racks) and can use it once if i add location field.
Summarizing it would be  great to add another field that worked like the location field to complete extreme B information
