Hi,
I am a new user of GLPI and I am having some difficulties trying to setup our new GLPI 0.83.7 specially regarding importing users from the Active Directory. I am using Ubuntu as my server.
If it's not to much to ask could any one help me how to setup my GLPI so that I could import users from our AD.
Do I need to write a code on the php to be able to connect the LDAP to the Active Directory ?
Please really need help ..!

Hi Jongas,
This has been covered a lot here, so it' snot surprising you are having troubles.
Have you tried a search for LDAP?
If so and still can't find an answer, we'll have to know what you've tried, what your config is setup as now, etc...
Thanks,
Dan

Hello
I have a problem regarding the import of users and computers, seems to be some problem with the LDAP configuration.
I can make the connection to the server successfully, but when I ask to do the import does not appear any user.
See my setup:
LDAP - ID 1
Name: lab.intra
Default Server: Yes
Active: Yes
Server: 10.10.10.3
LDAP Port: 389
Connection Filter: (& (objectClass = user) (objectCategory = person))
Basedn: dc=lab;dc=intra
rootdn (for non anonymous connection): LAB \ administrator
Pass (for connecting non-anonymous):
Login Field: samaccountname
Comments: Primary Server: DC01.lab.intra
The connection is made successfully, but when trying to import does not find user.
That can help thank

Hello, Xavier Caillaud.
Thank you for your help.
I performed the modifications and the test was successful.
Test connection to the LDAP directory
Tested successfully (Main Server: lab.intra)
But when I go into Administration >>> Users >>> Link Directory LDAP >>> import new users
The message: "No users to be imported"
What can it be since I'm getting connect to the server?
