Hi again guys,
We have a slight problem in our helpdesk. We have physical machines, and services (assigned as software). So for instance we have a machine called mail and a software object called Exchange.
We log tickets to do with physical hardware or the OS or miscellaneous against the machine itself, and then Exchange related tasks to the 'Software'.
Occasionally we may have an issue with a machine, where we want to look back at all Incidents and Requests for that machine AND all the services it hosts.
I can't seem to get this to work at all through the view filters in the ticket list, the 'OR' function doesn't seem to work was expected.
For instance I would expect to use:
Filter 1 : "Status" "is" "All"
Global Filter 1 : "OR" "Computer" "Name" "contains""Mail"
Global Filter 2 : "OR" "Software" "Name" "contains" "Exchange"
If I leave the second filter blank (not enter the word Exchange) it will display all tickets related to the machine or vice versa.
Seems that if I use two different 'Types' of objects it doesn't work!
Any ideas or should I log a bug?
