Plugins and GLPI 0.83.x

Hello together,

until now I couldn't update my GLPI installation to a Version > 0.80.7.
This is because I need to receive Notifications from Plugins which is not working on a Version > 0.83 and I can't find any help on the forum (I don't speek french).
The GLPI internal Notifications like "New Ticket" are working.

The working installation runs on IIS 7.5 on an Win Server 2003 R2 but I also tested it on a Linux driven Apache web server and there is the same problem.

Has anyone an idea what I could try or why the Notifications in Plugins aren't working???

Hope anyone can help,
Christian

Re: Plugins and GLPI 0.83.x

What plugin are you referring to?
After an update of GLPI you need to re-enable your plugins.  Have you done that?

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Plugins and GLPI 0.83.x

Hi Dan,

I'm mostly referring to Ideabox, Projet and a selfmade one and yes I re-activated them after the update.
With GLPI Version 0.83.7 the Plugins Ideabox and Projet are nearly not working at all, but that is another story...

Currently I'm searching in the Sourcecode for any sollution. I will try to change the Plugin's notification class so, that it will extend NotificationTargetCommonITILObject instead of NotificationTarget with a little luck that will help...

But I would be happy for any additional Idea on this Problem

Sadly changing the Plugin's Notification class doesn't help a thing.
Still no mail sent by a Plugin.
It seems like there's a missing "sendMail" function... but just with Plugins :-/

Re: Plugins and GLPI 0.83.x

That's a good one.  I haven't seen this type of problem on my end.
Sorry.

Thanks,
Dan
