ldap authentication

Hi,

I hope you will be able to help me.

I am really struggling to enable the ldap authentication. The error I get is:

The LDAP extension of your PHP parser isn't installed

Impossible to use LDAP as external source of connection

I have altered the extension=php_ldap.dll in the PHP.ini as per instructions (removed the , but when I do that the apache service fails to start. The dll is in the directory.

I have set it up on a Windows Server 2008 box.

I would be most grateful for any help.

I don't run it for GLPI but I'll second the XAMPP recommendation in the article that danh posted.  Great platform.
