Softwareimport form OCS into GLPI

Hi Community,

I´ve got a problem. I try to set up a database system with OCS and GLPI.
At the moment the import of items work but the import of software which belongs to this items won´t.
I try to change in OCS the status of the software from new to uncharged. This is the advice out of die GLPI-Wiki but it don´t solve the problem.
Can anybody help me pelease??

(i hope my english isn´t as bad as i think, and you understand my question)

I had a similar issue with a windows XP box.  I deleted my "problem" computer in GLPI Assets and re-imported that computer.  From then on, I had no further issues with any software import from OCS.

Thanks danh, that wars not the problem but I fixed it - noe idea how - but it work.

Next problem ist the display of the softwarelist. There are only version numbers, no names or else.
Anybody an idea how to fix this problem?

Hi ArtiInventorer,

Is the software list correct in OCS-NG? If not, correct it and then import.

If yes, check the settings of GLPI software dictionary.

i just feel like the most stupid user...
But I can´t find any correct settingmenue for the GLPI software dictionary.
Can you please tell my in which of the tabs this settings can be done?

Hi Ahab,

thanks for the tutorial.
I think i have found my problem.
I checked die tables of the OCS database and the table of die GLPI Database.
The problem is that the GLPI have imported the version number array and not the name array...
Is this a bug or a userproblem?

Hi Arti,

I don't think that the DB structure of GLPI and OCS has to be the same.

Is the software in OCS assigned to a category?

You won't be able to import the software unless it is assigned to a category.
