I am testing the New Ticket notifications.
Everything is working except for the notify the requestor's group manager.
3-30-12 : This is only an issue when a new ticket comes in via email and is manually assigned.

hi,
as i understand your question??? ans. is
go to the following tabs
1. Administration >Rules > Business rules for tickets
and create a new rule(entity)..! and in action tabs add a rule.
so that you can specify and assign the tickets to the specific group or user when it retrieve new mails. .
also go to
2. Setup >Notifications > Notifications
and in new ticket add the requester group so that requester gets a mail too of new ticket!..
