Auto-generated "Inventory number"

hello @ all,

i'm looking for the plugin auto generated inventory number for the GLPI version 0.78.2, who can help.
the Inventory Number Generation Version 1.3.0 only works on GLPI version 0.72.x!
Is there a chance of an update in the near future?

Hi
I am using GLPI (0.78.20) for the last three months as my sytem admin has left the company.
My problem is regarding the Invetory numbers.

I have a standard inventory number style for the company which is used for a long time and i cant change it as it is almost on all the components we have in the company. Eg (AAAINV0001) .

Is there a way i can continue this numbering for my new entries, as the Auto generator generates its own number patern.

can you tell me why the old plugin doesn´t work whis 0.78 and what can i do that it works?
perhaps it is only to create a table or insert some code in the plugin

2 - between 0.72 and 0.78, the whole framework changed : tables, class names, functions, pages names

so it's not only adding a table or changing a file

Hello, I installed the version for glpi 0.83. Actually I works well for new computer I'm typing, I wonder if anyone knows how to generate the inventory number for existing equipment
