automate location using ip address

Is it possible to make location automatic and static taking IP address of the system
for example they are offices  located at 4 different places each have allocated with set of ip addresses according to ip address the location has to be set automatically is it possible to do this?

But i haven't been able to apply the update queries correctly as am struggling to work out how to create the additional table and where to apply the code

In OCS there is a "Network Name" field which is being automatically populated correctly - is there a way to import this field into GLPI?
