no mails send for contracts, licenses, etc.[resolved]

Hi,
I've already studied a lot of posts in this forum regarding mail notifications for contracts, etc. and somehow it seems to work, but I just don't receive mails.

I am really frustrated and have no clue why it is not working..

So far I've done the following:

1. Administration > Entities > Notifications
*Set Notification options
*Set Alarms options for Contracts/Financial and administrative information/Licenses

2. Setup > Notifications > Email followup configuration
*Send Testmail > OK

3. Didn't change the Setup > Notifications > Notification templates

4. Setup > Notifications > Notifications
*Activated: Contract Notice, Contract End, Infocoms, Software Licenses
*Added Recipients

5. Setup > Automatic actions > contract/software/infocom
*Scheduled
*Daily
*Run mode: CLI

6. Created cron job on the Linux
*#crontab -e
**/5 * * * * /usr/bin/php /var/www/html/glpi/front/cron.php &>/dev/null

7. Output /var/www/html/glpi/files/_log/cron.log

There is a log on web interface  - can you post the last logs ?

Hi, now it suddenly works, but only if I log into GLPI. Should this not work via cron?

I think at the moment you have glpi selected.

5. Setup > Automatic actions > contract/software/infocom
*Scheduled
*Daily

Setup > Automatic actions > contract/software/infocom are all set to CLI.

The Cron logs shows the individual launch: /var/www/html/glpi/files/_log/cron.log

I also have mails in the mail queue -> why are they in the queue?

1. Expected send date reached ?
2. Automatic action - queuedmail running correct ?
3. You did not look at dustbin queuedmail. there are the already sent emails.

Hi KKAdmin,

thank you very much for your help.

1. Expected send date reached? -> I am not sure what value defines this option (Entity -> Notifications?)
2. Thanks, I've set queued mail automatic actions to CLI and 5 min, mails were send immediately
3. Thank you for the hint, found all sent mails!

Entity -> Notifications:
I don't exactly understand what "Send xxx alarms before" and e.g. "14 days" means: 14 days for end of or notice or both or 14 days in the mail queue?

This is only for contracts, finance i think it is send before the date. I really know this options but it is not the delay for mail queue

delay for mail notification is for tickets only i believe

There is also an alarm for license too.

Great finally I could configure it that it sends mail on the specified dates, or prior to the specified date depending on the setting in the Entity.
