sending email while assigning an equipment
Hi,
I am currently using GLPI 0.71.2 version. I would like GLPI to send email to users automatically when an equipment is assigned to him/her or any update done on the equipments.

Hi Augusto,
I couldn't find out how to use rules for my email requirement. Please help me out. I want a rule to send email to users for any new equipment assignment or transfer of equipment in his/her name.

this can work only with glpi 0.72+
in business rules, for example :
Criteria :
Description regex checks /Address: ([0-9]{1,3}\.[0-9]{1,3}\.[0-9]{1,3}\.[0-9]{1,3})/ <- you get the ip address
Action
Item Assign: equipment IP address #0 <- you assing the IP addres which is the regex result

Hi,
I still couldn't make it working.. 
My requirement is, when admin changes the user field of any equipment i.e. an equipment is assigned/ reassigned to someone, it should send email to Admin, New user, Previous user.
