Glpi not send mail
Hi. I have a problem with GLPI 0.6...I use linux... and my mail server is on another linux machine..
I want that my helpdesk tehnician to be notifyed by email for all new intervention.
How can i do that ?

configure a mail system on your server like a postfix which just accepting mail from localhost and relaying mails to your mail server.
Then configure GLPI to send mails.

i configure GLPI to send mail from the "Email Followups" menu...but i don-t understand why do i need another mail server (postfix..) ...on the linux glpi machine.

Because it's this machine which send the mail. You do not need a mail server but a relay mail system.
