Question on pc's and servers

its maybe a stupid question,,, but is there any remote file that should be installed on the pc's and server to be able to gather the data ?

or i should manually add each pc and server to the system?

OCS Inventory can be used to gather the information, and then GLPI can get it

PC => OCS Agent
Server => OCS server + GLPI
