Hello,
My name is Carlos
I have a cuetion... in our work in Argentina we are using GLPI 0.7, but now we want to expand this and use an only GLPI server for all latin america. I know this can be done because you enter GLPI with an IP adress, but what about OCS?? This works with broadcast so you can not have an only OCS Server for all latinoamerica because the broadcast can not pass the router.
Can I put an only GLPI Server an OCS Servers in all countrys and then join all this OCS server in only one Data Base so I can have all the intems in the GLPI Server??
Thank all
Carlos

Look remi....
In this moment we are all latin america conected by WAN.... we have an only OCS server in argentina... and its only reported the items in our site....
So we have to do another thing if we want to put in only one Data base all items in diferent countrys

OCS agent only use communication over http, which should work on a WAN connection.
We are using only 1 server for a large company (100000PC) using a large WAN network (about 2000 sites).
So I don't see any issue with routing.
Of course, GLPI can retrieve informations from various OCS servers, but I don't think MySQL communication (ocs/glpi) over WAN is as robust as http (pc/ocs).
