Auto ticket assignment from Group to Tech

GLPI: 0.71.5 + Ubuntu 8.04 + Apache + MySQL

I have created a group: VIP
Added 10 users to that group.

Created a business rule: If ticket comes from VIP group it is automatically assigned to Technician.
Rule does not seem to work.

However, if i create business rule: If ticket comes from user (John.Doe) it is automatically assigned to Technician; Than, this rule works.

What am i doing wrong?


P.S.
I searched forum prior to entering this post, and found several posts on this topic, with no solution yet.
Has this feature been developed?

Is your ticket requester have the group VIP set ?

Yes, user is associated to a group: VIP

I had a look into this a while back ( http://www.glpi-project.org/forum/viewt … ?id=10739) and to the best of my knowledge assignment of rules based on the _user_ is not yet possible - it has to be based on the _equipment_.  I've not actually tried it with equipment as it's not really something that we've needed here, but I assume that it works.


GLPI 0.78.1 ... but planning to upgrade soon!
