Docs that need translating

Could we get links to the important documentation that has yet to be translated?  This should speed the process so we dont need to search for it and make sure we do not miss anything.

Re: Docs that need translating

There are quite a few of the plugins that don't have english documentation.

Re: Docs that need translating

I would like to contribute.  I (like the others) do not speak French, but I have used Google translate to add en_GB.php files for a couple of plugins.  I'm not a coder but I can contribut like this.

I think it would be helpful to post what section or file each of us is working on, so as not to duplicate efforts.

I'll start with  "partie plugins" this is the URL: http://glpi-project.org/wiki/doku.php?i … 6_greffons

Re: Docs that need translating

The english manual is mostly done.  There still are some bits of grammar that I need to go over.  I am hoping to finish it up within the next day or two.

Re: Docs that need translating

This: http://glpi-project.org/wiki/doku.php?id=en:config:ldap

is now 85% done.

Just needs the final bits adding, and some cleanup.

Re: Docs that need translating

I don't know if this would be of any use here, but I made a .PDF for our company to explain some to the basic tasks, so that they had all the information together in one place as the English wiki was very sparse when I started...

There is still much work to be done on it but I hope it could be helpful here??  Perhaps to expand upon the existing wiki manual??

The main problem is that I have changed the GLPI graphics to match our company, so the screenshots are all different.  ALso, we currently mostly just use GLPI of logging service tickets so I've not done much about the other features so some bits are straight from the wiki.

I hope this can be helpful - thanks for everyone for the great software smile

Chris

Re: Docs that need translating

If no one is doing yet, I'm going to translate the Administration section to Spanish, but I've a doubt about how to give format and upload it when I've finished...

Thanks
