This is my first post and what looks like an odd problem. I'm not an expert in GLPI or PHP or Apache and am at a loss to know where to look to fix the problem, hence the post here (as a starting point).
We have configured IMAP receipt of emails and it works well. You can connect to the email server and retrieve emails to automatically create a help ticket.
There is one particular type of email that causes us a problem though: a single plain text alert email.
When you hit the send/receive button, under mail gateways and a mail of this type is present, waiting to be sucked into the glpi application, instead of getting a "mail retrieved" or "mail retrieve failed" message all you get is a blank web browser screen.
If I look at the Apache2 error logs I note a child pid segmentation fault.
To recap, the offending mail has:
No attachments
Is a plain text email with a long(ish) title
Contains a single line in the body of the mail
Is sent to a target email inbox with no cc's or bcc's.
Is formatted as plain text.
I'd have thought that a mail this simple wouldn't cause any problems at all, but it does.
Any ideas on what to do to pinpoint what might be causing the problem?
