So we have another department eyeing our helpdesk implementation of GLPI for other purposes (yes, glpi is THAT good )
These guys will be using it to work on different issue that are not so technical related but more like logistics. They want to be able to make tickets for tracking distributor related issues.
They need to following hierarchy:
Distributors
Contacts
Stores
Contacts
The easiest way I see this happening is with entities. The problem is we have over 1000 stores, and I am worried if GLPI would be able to handle that many entities and would think it would make the interface clunky.
Is there a better way? Can GLPI run well with 1000+ entities?
GLPI .72
Current plugins - massocsimport
CentOS 5.3

Some users use GLPI with a lot of entites.
I saw in the mailing some user who use GLPI with aprox 10 000 entities !
The interface doesn't seem to be a problem just the login page who takes several seconds to load a lot of profils.
