User plus computer name import

Hi,

When I am importing the users from AD it also shows all the computer names and hence it becomes very tedious to select users and deselect computer names.

The search filter for the users I am using is (samaccountname=*)

Can you tell me how I can see only the users and import them. Also how I can remove all the computer names that have automatically got imported.

Re: User plus computer name import

I had the same issue initially.  I just added another filter... (objectCategory=person)

In regards to filtering out the computer names, im not realy sure.  I would sort your user list by a field that does not have a value for computers (ie first name or Sur name)
