I am trying to get my hands around this issue. I am looking for a good way to track my and my assistant's time. There are the tickets, the project plugin, and the activity plugin. I notice that in order for anything to show up on the Activity Report, it has to be included in planning. I would assume that planning is more of a future thing vs actual time spent?
So for example:
I have a ticket that customer emails are being blocked as spam, I fix that from 9am - 10am and have to put in a ticket follow up that includes planning from 9-10.
Next, I work on a phone system project from 10-11. Unfortunately, the project plugin does not do a good job of tracking time on individual tasks for a project, so maybe someone can help me out on the best way to do this.
Lastly, I have a vendor call from 11:00 - 11:30. I put this in Activity and have to include it in planning to have that time recorded.
Maybe someone can enlighten me a bit as this seems really cumbersome.
