Greetings;
GLPI is great software. Thank you for the very fine work.
I am using version 0.71.1 on a FreeBSD 7.0 server with Apache 2.2, PHP 5.2.5, and MySQL 5.x
My problem is this: I assign a user (lets call him "userA") super-admin priviliges to some entities, and no priviliges to other entities. When I log in as "userA" and select the entities tree view, I can see the entities for which "userA" has no privileges. When I click on an entity for whick "userA" has no priliveges, I get a blank screen, and I can see from the url displayed at the bottom of the browser window that browser is caught in a loop accessing ther server address, then 127.0.0.1, then the server address, on and on.
I have to click the red "X" t ostop the page from trying to load, and then click the back button to get to a GLPI page that will load correctly.
The best way to do this (IMHO) is to not show the links to items that the current user cannot access, or disable them and display them in different color.
I'm usling FireFox version 1.5 on a FreeBSD 6.3 desktop unit.
Thank you again for the great software!

if auser have no access to an entity he must not see the entity.
Do you have informations in debug mode ?

Greetings MoYo;
Sorry for the delay. I thought the problem went away, I can select entities from the administration menu, but the entities tree throws an error no matter what account I login under. This is the message from debug mode:
PHP ERROR: Undefined index: HTTP_REFERER in /usr/local/glpi/front/central.php at line 62
This software is very powerful, I hope this problem can be solved!
Thanks in advance!

It turns out that the demo site has the same behavior. If you attempt to select a different entity from the entity tree (not from Administration/Entities) you get a blank screen.
The software is still great! Thank you!

OK, just did it again just now.
- I log in as admin_en
- I click Inventory menu
- I select networks (it doesn't matter, any inventory item will bring up the entity tree)
- On the far left at the top it now says: Central> Inventory> Networks
- In that same column on the right, it says:entity A (tree structure)
- I click on "entity A(tree structure)"
- A menu opens
- I select entity B
Problem starts, screen goes blank, entity B never gets selected. I have to back out of the blank screen.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.1 on Windows 2000
This is a Firefox 3 issue! I just tried to reproduce this on another machine (Windows XP and Firefox 2.0.0.15) and there was no problem.

Hello;
Is anyone else able to reproduce this problem on Firefox 3?
Clicking on anything in the entities tree window causes a blank screen in Firefox 3.

I have a similar problem with FireFox (v. 3.0.6) and entity tree view.
In GLPI version 0.70 the tree view function was OK. After upgrading to 0.71.5 the tree view stoped functioning. After click on the Root entity (tree view) nothing happes.
In IE and Google Chrome the function works great.
Any idea?
Strange is, that in the demo version (on the glpi server) the function works.
