Global-queries for inventory

First of all, hats off to the developers for creating such a great tool like glpi. Projects like this make free software so cool.

Now, I have a little trivial problem ... I can't find how to perform a query on the *entire* inventory. Viz, we want to be able to retrieve all computers, monitors, printers e.t.c. that came from a specific manufacturer (for example hp) without performing indipented searches to each sub-section of the inventory. Is there any way to do it?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance and sorry if this issue has already been addressed.

Today it is not possible. But it could be done in the futur
