Reservation from pool

Hello,

we are testing the wonderful glpi in our school (glpi V0.71-RC2 / Ubuntu 8.03).

Our Problem at the moment:
We have a lot of hardware for teachers to use in classrooms (laptops etc.). We want them to use the reservation-system of glpi.
We managed to make the laptops available for reservation.
Is there a way to make a kind of "pool"?
The teacher should only need to make a reservation for "1 Laptop" and glpi picks the next from a given range (e.g. Laptop_01 - Laptop_30) or say somthing like "no more laptops for reservation available".

Is there a way of doing such a thing? Or maybe other solutions?
