I set up the GLPI about 2 months ago now and it has been working really well for me so I am happy
However, I have just been told that to comply with certain Standards (ITIL and various British Standards) there should be a Priority AND a Severity.
The Severity should indicate how many people are affected.
The Priority should indicate how urgent it is that it gets fixed.
For Example,
If the Boss's printer in the meeting room is broken it affects FEW people, but is HIGH priority.
If everyone's screen saver is set with a password that needs to be removed it affects MANY people, but the priority is LOW because they've had it for a long time, so a few more days won't make much difference.
Does anyone know if this is a planned piece of work, or if there is a plugin that will show this, or where one should start to look to try and change this... or if GLPI does it already and I've missed it!
Thanks for your help

I think that I may have solved the problem with regard to the SEVERITY - I can use the Category drop-down to include this facility
With regard to the PRIORITY, I would like to rename the priorities and get rid of one or two... can anyone tell me the best way of doing this? I can't see anywhere in the options that lets me set these, only to change the colours for them...
Thanks for your assistance.

Have a look in your locales file.
There are 5 entries in there for this, just remember that if you change it changes can be lost with version upgrades.

introduction of additional information is already planned to match better with ITIL.
