Another type of 'Inventory' machine

Can I somehow add another type of machine to be seen in 'Inventory'? As well as the exisiting 10 (Computers, Monitors etc.) we desperately need to keep track of our 'dataprojectors' and 'interactive whiteboards' in this inventory.  Can I somehow add those as new types?

I'm using devices section for all what is not a compuer, software, printer .... etc

Yes I had seen that, but did really want a quite separate category for dataprojectors, rather than have them muddled up in amongst all sorts of other 'devices'.  if it is possible???

Hi Again,

We have 8 category of items and each category we have 50 items witha total of 400 items.

We need to inventoried all 400 items similar to Central > Inventory > Cartridges.

Is it possible to copy Central > Inventory > Cartridges module to Central > Inventory > Item1, so I will have the same functionality of the Central > Inventory > Cartridges module?

Please advise.
