Question on dropdown

Hello,
I selected Setup->Dropdown and selected "Location". When I executed the  "Post" I got another form.

Question:

How does the "Massive modification" work. I selected a location value, changed it to something else. But when I did the "Massive modification" I don't see any changes when I selected the "Computers". I hoped to see the new location value changed in the detailed form .

I am using glpi.0.70.2.
