Why does GLPI update Agent information every 1 hour or so?

Every time i make a change to my GLPI-Agent i need to wait one hour or around that much so i can see the changes to my GLPI. For example when i run a new agent it shows 0 up until one hour where then i get signal from the agent. everything works fine just this delay that makes working with it very difficult. Yes i have tried the force inventory but it does nothing. everything works fine i just have to wait an hour for every change. how can i fix this or go around this?

Re: Why does GLPI update Agent information every 1 hour or so?

The simplest is to use local internet browser to force locally the agent to run tasks using this url:

http://localhost:62354

After that, it's not clear what you're really trying to do when you say "I make a change to my GLPI-Agent". And the one hour delay can be related  many configuration. For example, is your agent running as a service ? If not, this can also explain why you fail to try the force inventory if this is tried in glpi.

Re: Why does GLPI update Agent information every 1 hour or so?

for example if i start an agent it takes an hour for it to show up in the glpi dashboard. Also i do force on all imaginable ways and it still takes a long time to update everything in glpi. For you when you start an agent does it show up straight away
