How to change the type of device

Good morning,

Printers connected via USB are recognized and connected to the computer automatically.

These printers are classified as "peripherals".

Is it possible to change their typology and switch them from "peripherals" to "printers"?

In this way they would all be cataloged in the same place, the USB or network printers would all be under the heading "printers"

I think it is a feature that could be very useful to have printers in one place and to be able to manage the consumer material cartridges also for USB or standalone printers
